On the way...

As we were driving down to southern Missouri the boys were being so extremely good and quiet, and the drive was going so smoothly that we ended up making it all the way to Sprinfield with only one quick stop for lunch at McDonald's in between. Springfield is only about an hour or so away from the condo we stayed in, and they had a HUGE Bass Pro Shop. Of course we had to stop! It was neat to see. It was like it's own little city inside. Shopping and waterfalls, aquariums, creeks, Starbucks, snacks, stuffed animals, boats and four wheelers...did I mention it was HUGE!! And the boys really had fun....ahem...Steve!!! :) It was a nice little break in our drive, and we still made it to the condo in good time.

This place was so big that it was impossible to get the whole thing in a picture, so I took one from the side where they had this beautiful water dissplay.

The boys tried out many off road vehicles, and four wheelers, and checked out all the new pontoons.

They saw turtles and fish.

And of course we all had to recite John Candy's line from The Great Outdoors when we saw this bear...."Big Bear!! Big Bear chase me!!! "

And we put dead animals on our head!

And shot at stuff!

And played in treehouses.

And AWWW the Liars Club....where Gage and Drake stood with this HUGE fish they caught! (wink, wink) (smile)

and Gage pretended to punch the large fish...which was wierd, but he thought it was funny so we humored him and took his picture while doing it! :)

And Springfield is also home of Lambert's Cafe....aka home of the "Throwed Rolls" which is a whole 'nother jolly event that I will post more about later. But I'll leave you with a picture of one of their billboards that are litterally upsidedown so they can alert you to be "Heads Up!" when you get there! :)
